Are you ready? I'm so excited because it's finally time for the contest to officially start today! Our family pumpkin is below...would you have thought it would be anything different with TWO little princesses running around the house? I actually wanted to carve Ariel because of the big DVD release and all, but "slacker mama" was not on the ball this year. Okay, okay "sick mama" was unable to get it done this year. :-)
So, for the first Blog-O-Lantern Contest I bring you Disney's very own Cinderella!
To participate in the Blog-O-Lantern contest please use Mr. Linky below and add your name. I can't wait to see what you've done. Happy Halloween and happy carving!!

OH.MY.GOSH Theresa, that is just beautiful, I love it. Wow you guys are skilled pumpkin carvers LOL
We're doing ours tomorrow after we return from the Pumpkin Patch, I can't wait to carve and then come enter it in the contest :)
Thanks for doing this :)
How are you feeling otherwise, you doing better???
Hugs to you,
Sandra
Thanks for the contest. I can see now that we have no chance of winning all the accolades, but we had fun with our pumpkins anyway!
Good grief. You win. IF I get around to buying and decorating a pumpkin, I will probably stick some of my daughter's Mr. Potato Head Pieces in it and call it done. :)
Yours is gorgeous! I'm looking forward to seeing what everybody else comes up with.
Okay. Did you actually carve that? Because if you did, you should be selling those or something.
Love,
The Person Who Has Never Carved A Pumpkin In Her Whole Life Ever
WOW - good grief! I'm not doing pumpkins, that was always my husbands job since I hate gooey things, (the insides of pumpkins are GOOEY), but will come back and check out the ones who join you. Lovely and perfect that you took a pumpkin to do Cinderella since thats what her coach started out as.
Sandra - I'm feeling much better thanks for asking. I go on Tues. (Halloween) back to the doctor's to get my blood levels and incision checked. I've been taking my iron three times a day so I'm guessing we should get good results.
Rach & LW - The hostess is exempt from the contest! :)
Kelli - See above comment, and I would love to see the Mr. Potato Head Pumpkin. You know there are points for originality!
Boo - Yes I did carve it, but I don't think there's any money in selling :)
Bev - You sound like Victoria...she'll watch me carve em' but she's no way touching the gooey stuff! :)
You did excellent. I'm coming back to post mine soon : )
HI, I just added some of my pics. Thanks for hosting!! Jennifer
WOW!! Great Job! I better not show my kids this because I set the standards pretty low around here.
Hope you have a great time w/the girls!
NO pumpkin carving for me, but I had to say that yours is incredible!!
Tonight I hope to get some shots of them lit up. Thanks for the invite!
Hugs,

You shame me with your creativity and amazing skills! :-) Great job.
I was coming over here to tell you that we ended up using markers on our pumpkins, and believe me, they are NOT contest-worthy--and then I saw YOUR pumpkin and am doubly convinced you don't want to see ours:)
Yours is amazing!!
I'm trying to post my pictures, but bloggers being a booger! I'll let you know when I'm successful!
Success!!! :D
Thanks for stopping by and commenting even though I have been a complete SLACKER about doing the same. I would have posted pictures of our pumkins (not lanterns, alas) but the digital camera is busted... so I can't post until the film is developed, and by then, well, it's already Christmas.
Hope you are doing well, chica.
I called my daughter over to see that. How beautiful!!!!
I hope I can do this the right way.
